The fortress at Hil'Derrin Point, established during the early settlement period, is the most remote military outpost location.  There are no roads that connect it - only sea vessels can travel to and from its walls.  Its main purpose is to provide a rest stop for ships traveling along trade routes between the cities and other fortresses on the western and southern coasts, as well as long term imprisonment for those who have been banished from the kingdom, but tried to return without pardon.

 

All of the Royal Guards stationed here come from the town of Ahkron.
