The Kingdom of Darkness, ruled over by Maargog the Emperor, Wielder of the Dark Magic of the Undead. The Emperor seeks revenge on D'nashk Re'at and the persons of Keanot and Breeta for treason. (Da'rahad is the plural, personal word for darkness. While normally translated as "The Kingdom of Darkness", it is more literal to say "The people named Darkness in whom the Light of Wisdom does not exist").

Located in the heart of the Middle Kingdoms of Men on the coast of the Great Sea of Kraag.  Its capital city is Thasdook and is the largest city in the Known World (approximately 1.2 million residents), and used to be the capital of the Middle Kingdoms until Maargog seized power.

Their herald symbol, unexplained to the Peoples of the Known World, is secretly in honor of the ancient Red Dragon named Ashardalon who for many centuries has been converting the Monster Races into soldiers according to the will of the Circle of Kings and their Legions.
